Young Physically Disabled Care Homes & Care Centres
Normally the Local Authorities will offer assistance to enable young people with debilitating illnesses or disabilities to stay at home and as independent as possible. If this proves too difficult for the person to continue living in their own home then a residential or nursing home may be the best option.

Young persons care homes may be within a care home for older people, a specialised care home specifically for the young or a unit attached to a care home.

Different care homes accommodate people of different age groups and 'young' can mean any age from 18 to 65 to distinguish it from services for older people. Check with the care home to see if they are suitable for you.
