Yorks Care Ltd. was founded by the director during 2003 and is proud to have achieved successful Registration and Inspection with the Commision for Social Care Inspection during 2004. Our latest recognition in March 2006 is to be awarded the Investors In People accreditation.

Yorks Care is owned and managed by Maria Davis MCMI - Managing Director/ Registered Manager. As a company we are focused on the continual development and improvement of our services and commit to exceeding the National Minimum Standards (Domiciliary Care) introduced by the Department of Health (Care Standards Act 2000) during 2003.

Yorkscare is a member of the UKHCA (United Kingdom Homecare Association) and registered as a domiciliary care provider with the CSCI (Comission for Social Care and Inspection). Our 'Statement of Purpose' is to enable people through the promotion of independence to enjoy and remain living in their own homes for as long as they wish by providing a high quality user focused service. Our support workers provide homecare to a number of service users in the local area of North Kirklees, and we aim to enhance lives, enable all people who need support and provide help when needed the most.

Our offices are local to the area, and are open Monday to Friday 8:30 - 6:00. Weekday evenings and nights, and weekends are covered by an out of hours telephone number and all clients are given a full information pack upon commencement of service detailing these.

Yorks Care commits to a rigorous recruitment and selection process of its support staff, and training of all support workers is in line with the key objectives contained within our 'Quality', 'Training and Development' policies.

The organizations key goal is to become recognised as a leading provider of domiciliary care and support services in the Kirklees area and endeveour to raise standards in the social care environment whilst maintaining our excellent reputation.
