Wakefield Careforce is a provider of domiciliary care services based in Hemsworth. The agency offers services such as support with personal care and domestic tasks to both adults and children. Careforce can provide carers to help with a wide range of tasks throughout the day. The agency offers help with getting up in the morning, personal care and hygiene. Lunch calls, tea calls and shopping calls can be made. The overall aim of the agency is to enable people to stay in their own homes, safe in the knowledge that they can have all the help they need with whatever tasks they find the most difficult. There is a 24 hour ‘On-Call’ system which means that carers receive advice and help from managers so that they can do their job efficiently and effectively. The agency policy states that carers can work alongside or in conjunction with live-in carers to provide services as the client needs change. In addition, if a service user needs the help of two carers, this can be provided as long as their assessment indicates this.

At the time of the inspection fees ranged from £5.90 for a thirty minute call to £12.15 for up to an hour of personal care.
