Village Care Agency is based in Onibury on the outskirts of Craven Arms in South Shropshire. The agency provides domiciliary care support to residents aged over 50 who move to bungalows and apartments at Roman Downs and who are in need of personal support and or care. They aim to foster a sense of community whilst maintaining dignity, independence and quality of life. To achieve this domiciliary care and support staff offer individually tailored care packages in peoples own homes, a full range of services from domestic support and shopping to full personal care in 30 minute or one hour calls or multiples thereof. At the time of inspection the service was supporting three people, two of whom receive personal care. The agency has two Directors and employs a Manager and one domiciliary care assistant. More staff will be employed as the service expands.
