The Viking House domiciliary care service, called the Outreach service, is a special service available only to those already receiving support at Viking House. Individuals receiving the service are children and young people up to the age of 18 years with complex health needs, and the support is an extension to the short stay and school support offered at Viking House. Support is provided by a dedicated team of nurses with specialist knowledge of the individual needs of the children and young people. The service is run from Viking House, and the registered manager also manages Viking House. Families receiving the service are not directly charged and the costs of the service are taken by the National Health Service.
