Tynedale Care was established in 1983. The Agency Provides domiciliary care and support to service users in their own homes in the Tynedale area who require such support in order to remain independent and continue to live in their own homes. The support is provided by either female or male care workers and the services can be accessed privately or through Social Services Care Management.

The agency offer a service of personal care tailored to each individuals needs. The Care needs, wishes, preferences and personal goals for each individual service user are recorded in their personal service user plan. Once referred either privately or by Social Service Care Management, this will start referral process which consists of :
* Service User Assessment : Assessments are normally carried out prior to commencement of the delivery of care. Information will be collected from the referral source.
* Introductory Visits : Arrangements will be made with the service user, for the Manager or other delegated person, to visit the home to discuss the request. A risk assessment of the task and environment will be done at this time.
* Service User Care Plans will be developed with the information gathered and the plan agreed with all concerned.
* Care Plans are reviewed as appropriate.
