Trevayler is a residential rehabilitation project offering accommodation and 24 hour care for individuals from the ages of 18-65 recovering from mental health problems. The challenge to Trevayler's service users comprises the acquisition and development of the necessary skills and knowledge to provide a firm basis for successful living within their community.

The house is designed in such a way as to ensure each service user has a defined pathway towards independent living.

Trevayler seeks to create a balance providing group work within the project and, where possible, service users are involved in external groups enabling ongoing links outside the project. Some examples of the groups are gardening, discussion, sports/fitness, menu planning, reading and welfare along with meetings specific to the semi-independent annex and the cluster house.

Trevayler's success can be measured by the large number of service users who move on to live with greater independence.
