The Spinney is a 35-bedded Nursing & Residential Home situated in 3 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens in the heart of the greenbelt countryside, between Up Holland and Roby Mill villages.

The Lounge is undoubtedly the focal point of the Home, accommodating all Service Users and visitors at any one time, enjoying the panoramic views over the Douglas Valley. rofessional entertainment includes music, games, puzzles and paintings and in the summer, Service Users can relax under the gazebo in the garden. The Spinney also organise recreational outings to flower festivals, garden centres and line dancing shows.
