The Lawns is a Housing With Care scheme, which is managed by Norfolk County Council in conjunction with the Broadland Housing Association. The Lawns is located in a residential area on the outskirts of Great Yarmouth. The Lawns can accommodate 30 tenants mainly in single occupancy flats consisting of a small sitting room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom and individual assessments of need establish the level of care and support that will be provided by the agency to each tenant. The apartments open out onto an internal street with raised garden beds and benches outside each flat. Tenants can also access the communal areas and sitting rooms.

The scheme offers support to people in their own homes. Separate day care facilities are also provided on site, though these are staffed separately, but both the housing with care resource, (domiciliary agency), and the day care centre is managed by the care manager, Joy Breeze. Tenants are financially assessed to determine the charge for accommodation and care.
