The Briars is a large, modernised, Victorian house set in secluded gardens in Sandown, Isle of Wight, with good transport links to the rest of the island. All the bed-sitting rooms are for single occupancy and have en-suite facilities.

A highly dedicated, qualified and experienced team of managers and staff ensure that each person is given the very best standard of care around the clock. Residents are treated with kindness and understanding and are encouraged to lead as full and independent a life as possible. Individual cultural and religious needs are respected. Social and creative activities are organised for residents, and they are at liberty to participate in these or not; regular outings and entertainment are also arranged.
