The Supported Living Team 1 provides staff support to 39 service users in 19 tenancies. The agency is managed by the Wakefield Health and Social Care Department. All service users have tenancy agreements. Most service users have moved into these tenancies following the re-provision of two large residential care homes. The agency has premises to the rear of what was once one of the residential homes mentioned above which has been converted to office accommodation. Some of the office space is shared with Supported Living Team 2 and by other Health and Social Care departments.

The agency supports a wide geographical area and, therefore, has a satellite office at Highfield House where staff who work within the vicinity can meet for supervision and team meetings. The office is accessible to service users at ground floor level. There is a manager’s office and shared office space for other employees. There are good storage arrangements for confidential information. Alternative arrangements can be made for accommodating staff training sessions and meetings either in the complex or at the nearby training section premises.

Fees :
* Home Care & other non residential services : £8.16 per hour up to a maximum of £102.00 per week.
* Day Care only : £2.55 per session up to a maximum of £102.00 per week.
* Combination of above services : £8.16 per hour plus £2.55 per session for day care up to a maximum of £102.00 per week.
