Step By Step is an Agency that currently supports people with a learning disability, who may have additional mental health needs, physical disabilities or sensory disabilities and people with mental health needs. The people it supports live in the Dawlish area. The core group of people Step by Step provides a service for live in their own homes with funding from the 'Supporting people' programme. The Devon County Council's 'Supporting People' team also monitor the services to these people. Other people Step By Step work with live in their own homes and purchase their care with the help of Social Services or Direct payments.

Step By Step provides some 24hr services, some personal care and some housing related care and the number of people purchasing a service has grown.
