Standard Care SW Ltd., provides support for elderly or disabled adults living in and around the Torbay Area. The areas of care provided include personal care, cleaning and house care, laundry services, shopping, community support, meal preparation and live-in services. The agency operates a 24 hour service seven days a week and is currently managed by Delna Taylor and owned by Mr. and
Mrs. Henson who have a range of management and care experience. The service users guide includes details of how to obtain copies of the inspection report and can be found in the agencies office. A service users guide is also made available to all service users prior to or soon after being introduced to the service.
The current fees (August 2007) range from £12.54 to £13.50 per hour. The fee level depends on how the care is funded either privately, direct payments or via social services. And is discussed on an individual basis. All Service Users are provided with a contract that includes terms and conditions and the fee level agreed upon.
