Somerset LD Domiciliary Services (Mendip) is based at the Day services Centre in the town of Frome, Somerset. The agency is registered with the CSCI as a large domiciliary care agency, which is registered to provide a service (personal care) to adults in the following categories: learning disability, older people, physical disability and sensory impairment. In practice, all service users have a learning disability and may have other conditions concurrently. The agency is not registered to provide nursing care.

It supplies staff to deliver or assist with personal care and support, covering a 24 hour period, to service users living in 14 houses, and on a ‘when required’ basis to service users in a number of other properties. All properties covered by this service are managed by voluntary sector housing providers.
