Short Term Breaks at Home is a service that provides breaks for carers of adults with learning disabilities. The service users have a range of different individual needs and profound disabilities. The service encourages service users to access community facilities of their choice this can include both day and evening activities. The service is based at Stanhope Lodge which is a care home for adults with Learning Disabilities and is owned by the Local Authority. Currently the service has thirteen service users, a manager for the service, and five staff members.
