7-14. I also worked with underprivileged children through the Liverpool
City council, again as a youth worker in a after schools club and a
summer club.
I spent time doing voluntary work for Alder Hey hospital whilst studing
my A-levels. I worked in the Ronald Mcdonald house, where the families
of sick children would stay. My job was to work with the siblings of the
sick chidren, keeping them entertained and basically helping the parants
when they needed.
During my University course I have completed many placements. I worked for a number of community based organisations around the Manchester area. I have worked with help the aged who have day centres for the elderly people in certain areas. I have also worked for a company in Solford which was a day centre for disabled people, where they can relax and socialize whilst having the best of care. |
