Ford Place Care Home is a grade II listed building, modernised to provide 24 hour nursing care to older people. The home is set in idyllic grounds. Ford Place is open to both local authority and privately funded residents, providing mainly long-term dedicated care and some respite stay. A new luxury wing is also currently under construction.

Ford Place Care Home provides 24 hour nursing care for people aged 55 upwards. Ford Place Care Home aims to deliver the highest quality of care with access to a variety of services and facilities including hairdressing, chiropody, dentist, optician and physiotherapy by individual arrangement. There are also regular visits from representatives of different religions.
