 About Abbotsford Care  
Abbotsford was established in 1986 at Milton Road, Kirkcaldy and have since gone on to provide care homes throughout Fife, in Glenrothes, Kinglassie, East Wemyss, Cowdenbeath Methil and Newburgh. Abbotsford Homes are all within local communities and provide a range of services for older people, people with dementia and learning difficulties and those people who find they are no longer able to manage within their own homes.

Abbotsford’s Homes are variable in size and range from six beds in one facility to forty in our largest facility. Abbotsford have developed, with the exception of the building in Kirkcaldy, purpose built facilities which are all single storey. The homes are designed to provide units for a maximum of twelve people.

Each unit offers a dining room, lounge, kitchenette, bathroom and shower room as well as bedrooms for each individual with their personal en-suite wc. All our bedrooms are bright and spacious. Residents are encouraged to personalise their room with small pieces of furniture, ornaments and pictures which help to make any room a home from home.
