High quality care and support to ten individuals with a learning disability, physical disability, sensory impairment and complex needs is provided at Barley Close

There are several communal areas in the home, giving individuals the opportunity to socialise or spend time alone as they wish.

The spacious lounge has a fully equipped sensory area and there is an upstairs conservatory which provides a quiet area for relaxation. There is also a downstairs conservatory and a dining room, where service users can choose to share meals together.

All areas of the home are specially designed to respond to the varied needs of the service users, while maintaining a warm and homely environment. There are also rustic landscaped gardens with a large patio area.

Barley Close has ten bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities. The five ground floor bedrooms are all wheelchair accessible and have ceiling tracking. The spacious upstairs bedrooms have spectacular views.

Individual care packages are carefully designed to reflect not only the person’s needs, but also their wishes and aspirations. Each individual’s person centred plan is tailored to allow choice and independence.
