Aycliffe Care Home is a modern, purpose-built 55-bedded Residential and EMI Residential Home for the Elderly.

The clothes and food market is held every Tuesday in the Town Centre, which is approximately a 20 minute walk. Aycliffe has 3 lounges and large patio doors leading out to the attractive patio area where residents can sit and relax. there is monthly church service on 2nd Tuesday of each month home also provides daily newspapers. Home provides activities programme ranges from shopping and boat trips to bingo, quizzes and other interactive activities to professional entertainers including Country & Western singers, organists and vocalists.
