Overview

Dene Holm House is a purpose built two storey Residential Home constructed in 1970 by Kent County Council (KCC).
In 1999 KCC took the decision not to provide direct residential care and disposed of its residential homes. Dene Holm was one of the homes which was acquired from KCC and since February 2000 it has been owned and managed by The Abbeyfield Kent Society.


Dene Holm House provides 24 hour residential care for 12 people who are physically frail and has a specialised secure wing for 35 older people with dementia.The Home offers each individual resident the level of support they need to maintain their lifestyle. This includes ensuring that all health needs are met*, assisting with personal care, dietary needs, social and spiritual interest and maintaining contacts with friends, relatives and the community.
